We are seeking to hire Content and Media Partnership(s) to produce content for the Human-Nature programme.
About this opportunity
The British Council has launched a new global programme, Culture Responds to Global Challenges. Through this strand of work, we support artists, creative practitioners, organisations, and policymakers to respond to global challenges and support sustainable development.
In Malaysia, the British Council will run Human-Nature: a 3-year arts programme that will enable UK and Malaysian artists, organisations, scientists, and academics to research and collaborate to better understand Human’s relationships with nature and with each other.
Since October 2023, the Human-Nature programme has produced a Community Engagement Guide, and with the support of three Malaysia organisations who work at the intersection of arts, community and climate, the programme conducted a 10-day delegation with seven UK art organisation leaders and curators to engage with over 250 stakeholders across peninsular Malaysia, Sarawak and Sabah. In October 2024 to October 2025, the programme will also be piloting the Human-Nature Storytelling Fellowship.
Scope of Work
As part of the 3-year programme, the British Council welcomes proposals from media partners with a strong portfolio in Arts and Culture, and relevant audiences. We are seeking media partnership(s) that are able to produce engaging and relatable content for the programme either in the written, video and/or audio format, with a social media engagement strategy. Content must be accessible and available in English and Bahasa Malaysia languages for UK and Malaysian audiences.
Further details of the opportunity and desired deliverables can be found in the Request for Quotation document below. Proposals from multiple Content and Media Organisations/Individuals may be considered.
