Following the great success of the first series of East Asia thematic webinars back in Summer 2020, the British Council is delighted to invite prospective students for the second series from Tuesday 23 March to Thursday 01 April 2021. In this 2-week event, the theme of webinars will be twofold:

Week One, we will first focus on study and career options in Life & Health Sciences, Computer Science and Social Studies & Media Communications at Bachelor’s degree level. Our academic speakers will introduce what study options are available in the aforementioned subject areas, and how it will lead you to a global career. After that, there will be a student panel discussion, where current students will be talking about why they chose to study in the UK and the things that they wished they knew before applying.

Week Two, guest speakers from the Business, Engineering & Technology, and Creative Arts industries will share insights on current trends in the job market and what in-demand skills are required in the post Covid-19 era; followed by academic speakers to talk about how they incorporate it in their Master’s degree programmes and enhance students’ employability.

There will also be opportunities for you to ask questions to our panellists or join breakout sessions hosted by our participating universities for admission advice throughout the weeks. Don’t miss out this great opportunity!
