Participants of the workshop were selected through an open call published in December 2018. The workshop was facilitated by Gillian Easson of Creative Dundee and focused on strengthening networks and connections amongst different creative hubs in the country and helping participants further develop relevant areas of expertise related to the management and sustainability of their creative hubs. The workshop ran for two days and was held in Me.reka, a creative hub that participated in our South East Asia/UK Creative Hub Exchange in 2018. From this workshop, The British Council aims to continue engaging with the network of hub leaders and managers to further develop programmes and activities related to knowledge and skills exchange and capacity training for the benefit of the ecosystem of creative hubs in Malaysia.
