The Creative Hub Leader's Toolkit is a comprehensive resource designed to guide individuals and organisations in establishing and managing sustainable, impactful creative hubs.
The toolkit provides practical guidance in many areas including business planning, fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and impact assessment. Additionally, it is also made up of a wide range of resources and tools, such as case studies, templates, and checklists.
User-friendly, accessible, and adaptable to a range of contexts, it is a useful resource for anyone interested in the creative industry. The toolkit can be used by hubs at varying stages, whether emerging or established, as it can provide a foundation or a refresh of thinking.
This toolkit was developed in partnership with Hivos and Nesta and was born from the Creative Hubs Academy programme. The programme was co-designed over a three-year period with more than 100 creative hubs from across three continents, with the aim of helping hub leaders to sustain and grow their hubs. The ‘best bits’ from this programme were then refined into this toolkit. The toolkit was created in response to global requests: developed with creative hubs, for creative hubs.
